Dukes of Hazzard star Catherine Bach is sharing an update after a recent reported hospitalization.
Bach, 72, played Daisy Duke, the confident, strong-willed cousin who made ultra-short denim shorts a fashion moment on the show from 1979 to 1985.
She took to Instagram to capture a selfie recently, captioning a photo of herself and a friend, "FAMILY ♥️"

Another photo showed the actress and her friend at a steakhouse, with the caption, “Through so many of life’s milestones, we’re more than friends, we’re family! Xoxo."
The images come months after Bach was reportedly hospitalized, per various outlets, including Fox News.

Her co-star John Schneider, who portrayed Bo Duke in the series, confirmed the news of her hospitalization last year on his Facebook page, writing, "Attention Dukes of Hazzard family!! I just texted Catherine, and thankfully, she responded right away. Yes, she is in the hospital, but she assures me that she is going to be fine. She appreciates all our prayers and support and is truly disappointed not to be traveling this weekend. We love you, Catherine!!"

After shooting to fame on The Dukes of Hazzard, Bach landed a recurring role in 2012 as Anita Lawson on the soap opera The Young and the Restless.
The actress was married twice: first to David Shaw (1976–1981) and then to Peter Lopez in 1990. She had two children with Lopez, who died in 2010.
The Dukes of Hazzard ran for seven seasons on CBS, wrapping up in 1985 after 147 episodes filled with moonshine mischief and good-old-boy adventures.
