The search for *Today *anchor Savannah Guthrie's missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, continues as investigators announce the discovery of new evidence.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department shared that "investigators have recovered several items of evidence, including gloves" in a statement obtained by * *on Thursday. This comes two days after the FBI released the first photos and videos of Guthrie's alleged kidnapper, who wears a mask and gloves in the footage.

The Sheriff's Department is requesting that neighbors within a 2-mile radius of Nancy's residence near East Skyline Drive and North Campbell Avenue in Tuscon, Ariz., submit "all video footage that includes vehicles, vehicle traffic, people/pedestrians, and anything neighbors deem out of the ordinary or important to our investigation from January 1, 2026 - February 2, 2026."

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has not scheduled any immediate press briefings. Thursday's statement noted that the sheriff is currently conducting one-on-one interviews, and that local residents can "expect to see a higher presence of law enforcement activity going forward" as "more leads come in."**

Nancy Guthrie was last seen outside of her home on the evening of Sat. Jan. 31, after being dropped off by family. The 84-year-old frequently met up with a group of friends on Sundays to watch the virtual service of Savannah's New York church, Good Shepherd. When she failed to show for the planned meet-up on Feb. 1, other attendees alerted her daughter Annie, who reported her mother missing.

Authorities launched a large-scale search shortly thereafter, and Nancy's home was subsequently declared a crime scene. Two deadlines outlined on an alleged ransom note sent to several media outlets passed, with the Guthrie family declining to meet the $4 million, and then $6 million demand.

Savannah and her siblings, Annie and Camron Guthrie, have released several videos pleading for their mother's return and requesting the public's assistance. On Thursday, Savannah, who has been on leave from *Today *since Feb. 2, shared a touching home movie featuring her mother with the caption, "Our lovely mom. we will never give up on her. thank you for your prayers and hope."

The FBI and the Pima County Sheriff's Department ask anyone with tips to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI. The bureau has set a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to Nancy's recovery or the arrest of anyone involved in her disappearance.
